Guaranty & claims

Everything is listed, tracked and accounted for.

Your things aren’t behind a padlock you own the only key to. They are inventoried on arrival and stored in a monitored facility, with €500 of Guarantee included on every order and up to €10,000 if you choose it. Your own insurance is required.

The things people ask before booking.

One thing you’d carry or move as a unit: a box, a suitcase, a chair, a mattress, a pallet. If you’re unsure, list it and we’ll price it before you confirm.

One month, then month by month. Billing is monthly and adjusts as you add or remove articles. An article taken back before its first month is up is still charged for that month. No deposit, no lease, no notice period.

Your own insurance is required, as it is with any storage provider: it must cover the articles at replacement value in transport and in storage. On top of that, every order includes €500 of StoragePal Guarantee at no extra charge, and €1,000 to €10,000 can be chosen before you pay. It pays what your insurer and the facility operator do not, less a 20% deductible, and it applies in storage rather than in transport. Every article is photographed and inventoried on arrival, so its condition on the day we received it is on record.

As long as you like. One month is the minimum and many customers are into their third or fourth year. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and the price doesn’t change because time has passed.

Yes. Request a single article from My Storage and either collect it or have it delivered. The rest stays stored.

Yes, and it matters more than people expect. Anything arriving unsealed or badly packed has to be reconditioned before it can be stored, at €25 an article, and poor packing isn’t covered by the Guaranty. Furniture needs to arrive empty, with drawers left in place rather than taken out. Every article needs a label, top right on its longest side. We generate them when you book. No printer? Call or write and we’ll agree the labelling at €3 a label, which most people are happy to pay, or write your own name and order number on each article instead. Either way you avoid the €30 charge for an article that arrives unidentified, which is why that one is rare.

Ship your articles to us with any carrier, from any country. It’s the door-to-door Collect that’s limited to the Paris region. Storage isn’t.

Yes. We accept merchandise in your name, check it in against your inventory and store it. Common for e-commerce stock and samples.

Referral programme

15% off your monthly storage, for the life of the order.

Every StoragePal customer has a referral code. Book on one and your monthly storage is 15% lower for as long as the order runs, and whoever referred you earns storage credit.

New customers only, one discount code per order, and a referral code works once, on a first order. Referrers may use a discount code and their credits together. Discounts apply to monthly storage fees; transport, Guaranty and administrative fees are charged in full.

Partner code

Your university, residence or employer may already have one.

A partner code is typically 15% off monthly storage for everyone they house or employ. Ask your housing office, residence manager or HR team. If they don’t have one yet, send us their name and we’ll approach them.
